Although some people have driven from the UK to the apartment, the majority take advantage of the great deals from the budget airlines. The airport that serves the Costa del Sol is Malaga Airport - about a thirty minute trip by car. Flights into Malaga are available from Manchester with easyJet, Jet2, Ryanair, FlyBe and BA.  Flights from Liverpool are available through easyJet and Ryanair. Aer Lingus offer flights via Dublin that can be very competitive. If you live in the south of the UK any of the major airports will give you options into Malaga and those living east of the Pennines should try Leeds Bradford .  The typical flight time from Manchester is 2hrs 45 minutes.

There is a regular train service from Malaga airport to Fuengirola train station - which is one block away from the Bus Station.  It is then only a couple of euros for the journey to either Miraflores bus stop (nearest, recommended) or to Riviera del Sol bus stop.
The picture below is the view from the bridge over the N340 at the Miraflores bus stop - cars on the right hand carriageway are travelling towards Marbella. The dark car with brake lights on is turning right into Avenida del Golf at the big Miraflores sign.  The furthest dark blue sign is where the underpass is for the Riviera del Sol bus stop.
Alternatively we can arrange a car to meet you at the airport and take you directly to the apartment and do the reverse at the end of your holiday - total cost of the double journey will be approx €90 for 4 people - i.e. one car. There are a number of commercial taxi companies that operate MPV or minibusses for larger groups.
